Freak Stat

Tomorrow the Nationals and the Astros will resume a suspended game from early this May. They game was tied 10-10 in the Bottom of the 11th when the game was halted. One thing that is strange about this game is that the Nats will be the home team, even though the game will be in Houston. That is not nearly as odd as this piece of information I found out about. If the Nats can score in the 12 and win the game, the win will be credited to Joel Hanrahan, since he was the pitcher on record from the Top of the 12th. Hanrahan though, has since been traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He could get credit for a win, even though he is not even on that team. Now there is something you don't see every day. Also, Elijah Dukes was at bat when the game was suspended. Dukes has since been sent down to triple A, so he will have to be pinch hit for.
