Mexico Takes Group C, Quarterfinals Set

Mexico defeated Guadeloupe 2-0 to take first place in Group C. Mexico, who were playing without their coach, deserved the victory. They put the Caribbean nation under pressure all night. Guadeloupe also had two players sent off in the match, which will hurt them in their quarterfinal. Guadeloupe have been the surprise of the last two tournaments, but this time they were outmatched.
